i'm studying OB/Gyn. i've always been thankful that i'm a guy, but this has given me quantitative evidence that we are, in fact, better off. i want to Brillo pad my eyes clean.
Enough of that.
i did not have anything to drink last night for the first time in a while, and i feel SO much better. i hate that. Why couldn't booze just be good for you? But no.
Worked out today. Did back. This was a good workout.
P'lups:
+45 x 6
+65 x 5
+85 x 3 (locked out 2 without help)
2 x +105 x 4 (locked out the first one both times and the first 2 on the first set)
SL Deads:
20 x bar
14 x 95
10 x 145
8 x 195
8 x 215
6 x 235
6 x 255
4 x 275
3 x 305
Could not hold onto the bar for 4 on that last one. Otherwise didn't feel too bad.
One arm cable rows:
Many
Bent O'er BB Rows:
10 x 135
2 x 6 x 175
These are getting easier since i'm finally doing 'em sorta consistently.
WG Pulldowns:
Really kinda a bunch
i went in yesterday to do this workout and d00ds were on my equipment like ants on picnic, so i demurred. This was fine with me, as i felt like poopy-doody and had just climbed a hard session the day before. i think my grip benefitted from the extra day of healing. Definitely didn't have a 305 pull in me yestern. Now it's warm out, and i need to get off my portable couch cushions and lose some pudge.

I'm very tempted to drop the quid on this bike http://www.feltbicycles.com/USA/2011/TT-TRI/TT-TRI-Series/B16-.aspx
On the other hand, I can get another Cervelo P1 for $1700 MSRP and I know I loved that ride. I should probably get a straight roadie, but I really like the tri geometry. the weather here has been amazing the last few days.
Wow man. That is gorgeous. i really wish i could afford to look at such a thing. i think you should get you one, though. You should look up some time trials in yer area. You might have fun taking those quads out for a 10K...might just be competitive if you got yer lungs in shape. And that's pure, hardcore sprinting, that is.
wish I could figure out how to look for them. guess i'll have to call up some bike shops.
The Felt s22 is thier aluminum tt bike. its gotten some great reviews and costs around 16 hundo. I'm afraid aluminum is what's gunna fit in the budget.
i didn't realize that was aluminum. Still a beautiful bike. Wasn't that Cervelo carbon that you had before? But that Felt looks like a sick ride.
the Cervelo was aluminum. And I really liked it.
Comfy aluminum, then. Usually nice power transfer, so comfy aluminum would be a nice touch.
