5/3/1 day on OH press. Think it was 120, 135, and 155. Got a double with 155. Tried for a new max with 165, but it didn't happen. i'm gunna blame it on the gay music and general lack of focus. Deads are coming like a freight train, and i want a new max. i can smell it. i'm concentrating on knitting my erector spinae back together as i write. Just read an article on deadlift, and i'm focusing on forgetting all that and ripping a quarter ton off the floor. (Or, you know, closer to a quarter ton than i've yet locked out).
Then i swam some. Now to sleep. Peace.

Well, I'm glad you got to go home for the weekend. Very nice indeed. so deadlift tomorrow, then? I admire your eager anticipation. and I've found that most articles on deadlifting are tripe. Everyone, it seems, pulls differently with varying results. I say just get your shins on the bar and gank it off the ground!! The level of commitment to your scream is the only thing that really takes much skill.
Deads aren't till thursday. But I'm kinda amped. The workup over the last two weeks has so far gone significantly better than the same workup with the same weights in the past. So I feel good about doing better than 250. Almost got 255 locked last time and nearly prolapsed an eyeball. But the last time I did a triple with 405 on 3/3/3 day I had to walk away in between reps and come back. The juju is better this time 'round. If only they aren't rocking Culture Club or Queen...
Hmmm...I see your point. perhaps if you screamed louder than the Queen?
