Didn't have much time yesterday, but i snuck in a really skeletal workout. Worked up to a single with BW + 100 on pullups, got in some rows, and pulldowns. Felt pretty good in spite of dislocating m' shoulder for the 1,000th time the day before. Speaking of which: i tagged that v4 on wed. One of the cooler climbs i've done. Techy, stretched-out heel hook to an "undercling" toe hook to a pair of big dynos in a row. Fun stuff. Gave me hope that i might be on the verge of breaking into the next level. Haven't lost a single pound, but at least it's becoming some slightly useful muscle instead of plain old puffy fat. So while extra water and extra muscle is nearly as useless as the same mass of fat, at least i can see small footholds beneath my gut now.

That is much impressive there bru.. Ive felt good on my pullups the last few days as well, but i was wondering, glenn said he got you a book from brad johnson, the body weight exercises one... how do you like that? I was thinking about buying it.

It has some really creative exercises in it. i have implemented none of them, cuz most of 'em'd take some creative rigging. i think if you actually put together a program based on his workouts you could get crazy strong, but you'd hafta have some room to do it in. And a pullup bar. A lot of the exercises are really geared for martial arts-specific strength, but there's still a ton of all-around useful workouts in. i'd highly recommend it if you're motivated and don't mind doing some rigging. most of it you couldn't do in a gym, though, cuz they frown on a brutha hanging ropes and bits of 2x4 from their equipment.

Hey. I just happen to have lots of room. May have to pick myself up a copy of that one and build myself a bodyweight gym. I've certainly got plenty of bodyweight.
