That's a li'l hard to believe: i haven't written for almost two months. On the bright side, i have been working out. Looks like i'm on to season 5; but first the catchup.
Shortly after that last post i did string four routes together pretty tidily. Then went into just trying to send some hard routes. All on plastic. Never made it outside. Kept climbing for the next month, then called it about a week and a half before Christmas in order to get a two week rest to start a new season. Also tried to get back into the irongym about that time.
First session of deadlifting i sproinged my back. Was largely outta commission for the next week or two. have recovered, and've been hitting it pretty regularly. I can almost do the deficit warmup. Went in last saturday and missed 445 a couple o times. Soon though.
Also have started back with Good mornings, weighted p'lups, DB rows and face pulls. got a coupla sets of about 6 with +45 on p'lups and did a set of 6 (i think) with 110 on DB rows. Not a bad sesh.
This week i've started back into enduro climbing. Monday i did a bench workout in the barn. Got a single with 210. That's sad, but i can live with it. Tues i did the first sesh of ARCing at 2 sets of 30mins. Today (thurs) did 2 sets of 35mins. Did take a fall 'cuz a foothold spun on me, but that was it. Very difficult wall right now. But i'm also just outta shape for enduro.
Did weigh in at 199 this morning. That's better. Got up to about 207 whilst in tx over the holiday. So there's a smidge o progress.
