Today

Mum and Da' were here for the weekend, and then Katja was sequestered to the NICU for a positive viral culture, for which crime she's forced to undergo 14 days of i.v. acyclovir in an isolation room, so i'm guessing i'd be weighing in at about 250. (All in my biceps, of course.) i did get a climb session in yesterday between classes, and sent a v4 project. i'm sorta hoping to get in to the iron gym today, and blow out some more rage. i hope you guys are well, and i'm still seriously looking forward to that road trip if yous can figure out yer schedules. i could use about a hundred feet of air under m' shoes about now. Peace out.

That sucks about kat. Where did she get sick from? I guess kids these days though, are exposed to plenty of junk that we weren't. Acyclovir, thats a reverse transcriptase inhibitor isn't it? I remember that one from class.

As far as road trips, I work part time. I can put in for any day, any time. I will be done the first week of august. If yall want to go then or wait until september, whatever. I have to say, August would be best for me. That way, I wont be in a new job just yet. hope that helps a little. See you soon bru..

Is herpes a retrovirus? Can't remember. She had what looked like a pressure blister on her low back when she came out the chute, and it ruptured at some point thereafter. Didn't seem like a big deal. Could'a been she already had it on her skin from momma (who was the bar-hoppin' huzzy scene back in the '60s revolution), or it could'a just been floating 'round the room we were in. i mean, there was still blood and a placenta on the sheets from whomever was in the room before us, so maye that's it. Anyhow, she hasn't shown any signs of being sick (thank GOD) ...except for maybe the i.v. port hanging outta her head. That, at least, is sorta odd.

Looks like i'm outta classes jul. 31. If you guys could take off about then-ish Steph'd still be on maternity leave and we could actually pack a tent and some beer for the road. Otherwise, i have fri.-sun. off'a school every week, so we can do a long weekend pretty much whenever from my end. So it looks like the ball's in Glenn's court, eh. Glenn?
