Still on the wagon

First, i'd like to say a semi-public Thank You to God, cuz i just passed my end o' rotation exam, which i had nearly no expectation of doing. Still in the program! :-)

Wednesday i ended up doing nada. Nothing. Backsliding Wednesday, i call it. Yesterday, however, i did a pretty hard back workout. Pullups did not go so well. Couldn't wake up, and my pain tolerance was in the toilet. But i got my power-pellets for SL deads. Pulled 305 for two (although i wanted 3...hands started unravelling). But i hadn't gotten close to that in a while-e-O. i'm fairly sore today. i 'spect tomorrow will be worse. Planning on climbing and/or running today.

i need to retool my workouts. Bad. Getting a li'l flat here. But i am starting to lose a li'l bit of the spare tire, and i'm feeling fitter. i want to start hitting it hard, and get this workout retooled and periodized right (i.e., at all) before i get stale and burn out again. Gotta ride the wave to the next one.

But i'm done with this rotation, and i don't have to worry 'bout that any more. Huge load off. Thank You God!

I still think you should let me put together a 5/3/1 variant for you. You'd be in and out in less than an hour and actually have fun doing it. And I've discovered that I have very good success with even two days a week in the gym if you're doing training on other days. It's nice to go in the gym and know exactly what you're gonna load every day.

i must say I do like the 5/3/1 program. It is verrrry nice knowing what you are going to be doing when you go in... its kinda a preworkout psychout.

on a second note, I think purchasing my own workout space will help me stay consistent. No disrespect from the wife to you G, but it will be easier to workout all the time if my travel and away time is 45 minutes rather than 1 1/2 hours... ;)

Im proud of you Cody. Good on ya!
